Hi. I'm forum admin at GOTG. One of the members there (username SKEPTITRON) invited me to drop in. I can't say that my participation here will be extensive, seeing as how I've got my own place, but I like what I see so far.

I like to use this username but I'm not using it to hide the fact that my real name is Brad Reddekopp.

I'm a voluntaryist. I went from semi-socialist leftism to libertarianism to where I am now. Although I never identified myself as an Objectivist, Ayn Rand's writings had a lot to do with my eventual rejection of leftist ideology.

I'm an atheist. I went from being a conservative Christian (I was a teenage creationist [cue scary music]) and, as I started learning more about critical thought through my interest in rational skepticism, I gradually adopted versions of Christianity that were more and more liberal as I gradually abandoned more and more of my beliefs. Eventually, I was able to acknowledge that I no longer believed in gods and such. Today, I hold the view that it is most likely true that there are no gods, angels, devils, tooth fairies, etc.

Nice skin on this place, by the way. What's it called?

Well umm,... Brad, if by "skin" you mean the background, then that is a lacquered marble.
Otherwise, sorry, but I don't know the name of the black & blue forum software. I'll try to find out for you.
