For lonely men on the back nine, scantily clad women golfers are just a phone call away, Time reports. Las Vegas-based Play Golf Designs advertises a roster of attractive female players suited for corporate schmooze-fests or bachelor parties on the green. "They'll liven things up," said founder Nisha Sadekar, a former LPGA prospect who dismisses criticisms that she's exploiting female athletes as sex objects.

"It offends me," said one woman sports executive. "Even the course superintendent wouldn't allow them on the course—unless it was to aerate the fairways with their spiked heels." But Sadekar is also giving futures tour golfers a chance to keep playing while commanding fees up to $25,000 per outing. "There's this terrible stigma that if you're attractive, you can't play sports," one rising LPGA star said. "Men are shocked by how good we are."
