| The federal government's building industry watchdog is taking the national construction union to court for the third time in a year over allegations it tried to coerce crane companies into signing its wage agreements.
The Australian Building and Construction Commission (ABCC) said on Tuesday it is taking legal action in the Federal Court against the Construction Forestry Maritime Mining and Energy Union (CFMMEU) and three of its officials for allegedly targeting Newcastle company Wheeler Cranes because it did not have an enterprise agreement with the union.
