DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) - A Highspire police officer and his wife were each sentenced to 3-12 months in Dauphin County Prison for animal neglect, according to the Dauphin County District Attorney.
In June 2019, a dog owned by Officer Jeffery Levan and his wife, Amber Levan, was found severely underweight with its bones visibly protruding from it's body. The Golden/Labrador retriever weighed about 20 pounds, according to police.
