County Republicans respond to Nazi comment by the degenerate Frederick County Democratic Party

During the holiday season, the Frederick County Democratic Party decided it was a good idea to publish on their official Facebook page a post likening elected Republicans to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party. The post stated, “75 years ago Patriotic Americans went to France to throw out the Nazis. Next year all you have to do is go to the polls. #bluewave.” This outlandish remark was quickly seen as unpatriotic and extremely divisive, all issues the Democrats claim are reasons to hate Republicans.
This post is disgusting, degrading and offensive. The Nazi Party was an evil regime responsible for unspeakable acts of murder and genocide. It is never acceptable to compare any person or political party to such evil. This shameful rhetoric has no place in our political discourse. Regardless of how you feel about any party or political candidate or elected official, no elected official or party in the United States is comparable to Nazis.
The Frederick County Republican Central Committee, state Sen. Michael Hough, delegates Cox, Ciliberti and Pippy, along with the Republican Club and other Republican organizations, called the Frederick Democrats out for this divisive post and asked them to retract their statement and for responsible elected Frederick County Democrats to denounce this.
