| Thousands of people have taken to the streets in cities across Indonesia to protest draconian changes to the country's criminal code and the weakening of the anti-corruption commission.
And Indonesia will risk its international reputation and investment opportunities if the proposed changes aren't revised, according to a Kemitraan, a non-government organisation focused on democratic reform and human rights.
Last week, President Joko Widodo asked Parliament to delay - but not drop - proposed changes to the criminal code until new parliamentarians are sworn in next month. The current crop of MPs agreed.
