| I might tell you of a numerous standing army, a great, powerful navy, a long and rapacious train of officers and dependents... (Patrick Henry on the bad military consequences of Virginia ratifying the Constitution.) The earth shifted a little June 27th when Justin Raimondo, leading light of Antiwar.com, died. Perhaps the reader doesn't recall the name, but for those few of us who don't worship at the feet of empire and war Raimondo's passing is a hard blow. He fought editorially and politically to bring America back to its senses, writing thousands of columns against gratuitous war.
