| Break out the peanut butter. After years of telling parents to avoid exposing their young children to peanuts, a federal panel now touts a new recommendation for some babies and toddlers: peanuts. Those types of allergies have become endemic across the U.S. The National Institutes of Health on Thursday released new guidelines that advise parents to have most children start trying foods containing peanuts as early as infant age.
