| A coroner has recommended the NSW Police Force update its conflict of interest policies following revelations that affairs are common within the organisation.
Deputy State Coroner Hugh Dillon released his findings on Friday into the death of a 43-year-old female officer who committed suicide following years of work-related depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
After the mother-of-two, known as Officer A, killed herself in July 2013, it became apparent that she had had an affair with a senior police officer who was friends with her husband.
Mr Dillon found that it was likely Officer A had also had "intimate relationships" with two other police officers who were her direct superiors and were sometimes responsible for managing various aspects of her mental health treatment in the workplace.
