A transgender soldier who lives as a man has been forced to wear a female uniform and be addressed as a female officer under military rules.

The American ABC Network reported that Sergeant Shane Ortega had been a member of the US Army for 10 years, five of those as a transgender man.

The avid bodybuilder said the rules meant he had to wear clothes that barely fit him.
