| LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Clark County District Attorney won’t be charging a North Las Vegas police officer in the March shooting death of 38-year-old man approached behind an abandoned home. District Attorney Steve Wolfson released his final report Wednesday and concluded that, unless new circumstances come to light, there was no evidence to contradict the account of Raymond Lopez who said he acted in self-defense when he shot David Robinson. Lopez resigned in January after spending about six years with North Las Vegas Police. He told detectives he thought he saw Robinson holding a knife. Lopez was on patrol alone when he shot Robinson three times in the head and once in the shoulder. The report says investigators found an 8-inch knife with the blade facing up in Robinson’s back pocket.
