During an interview with Good Morning America's Amy Robach on Monday, the actor said, "You know, people really need to take time and read a book... that’s my advice. You could read New Slant on Life or Dianetics, and I think if you really read it, you'll understand it."

"Sometimes, when something really works well, it becomes a target," he added when asked why he believes the religion he's followed for over 40 years is so widely-criticised.
