Two sub-human child care workers threaten 4 year old boy with a knife

A four-year-old boy was threatened with a knife by child care workers at a centre in Kelmscott, police allege.

Police Media's Ros Weatherall alleged that four times between November 2007 and April 2008, a 60-year-old woman threatened the boy with a kitchen knife while trying to discipline him.

The woman was an assistant child care worker at the centre, and the boy was allegedly under her care.

Ms Weatherall alleged the woman also grabbed the boy's hand child and swung him into the wall of the centre on April 1.

Police allege another 27-year-old woman working at the centre also threatened the boy with a knife while he was being disciplined.

The 60-year-old will face four aggravated assault charges and the 27-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault.

Ms Weatherall said both women have been stood down by the private child care centre.

Both women will appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on August 26.
