| Not quite old enough to drink or drive – let alone vote – Joshua Wong is one of Hong Kong's fiercest and most influential government critics.
The skinny, bespectacled 17-year-old is at the forefront of a surging protest movement pushing for the right to democratically elect the region's next leader.
Mr Wong was among dozens of people arrested on Friday after protesters broke through the forecourt of Hong Kong government's headquarters. He was released late on Sunday without charge, but not before protests escalated sharply, prompting police to use tear-gas on demonstrators.
