A mother has tried to treat a class of second graders with a batch of vagina shaped cookies.

When Reddit user jpstudly heard this story from her friend, who is a primary school teacher, she had to share it.

Writing the post from the point of view of her friend, she said that she has a wonderful class and likes to "reward them when they are having a good week."

The teacher rewards good behaviour by asking one of the parent volunteers to bring in some snacks.

This week, the parent volunteer, known as Autumn Lily Speaker, offered to make some cookies for the class.

On Friday, Autumn turned up to school with a batch of cookies.

Handing them to the teacher, she said, "I decided you can use these to teach the kids about the woman's (sic) vagina today".

Lifting back the foil, the teacher realised they were vagina cookies.

Clearly passionate about sending a message, Autumn had gone to the trouble of making all of the vaginas different.

"There were [some] small, puffy, white, brown, shaved, bald ..." the Reddit user wrote.

The teacher pointed out that the cookies weren't appropriate and said that she shouldn't give them to her class.

Despite the conversation already being awkard, what happened next came as a shock.

Autumn began yelling at the teacher in front of the class, telling her to be "proud" of her vagina and that she is "settling for a woman's role". She left the cookies and stormed out.

The teacher scraped the icing off and handed them out to the kids.

Later that night, Autumn sent the teacher an email, which was posted to Imgur, about being so closed-minded.

"Knowing the human body for both men and women is a beautiful thing and you are depriving them of that," the email read.

The teacher has since taken this matter up with the school and Autumn placed her child in a private school.

Unfortunately, no pictures were taken of the cookies but they were apparently yum.
