What a mess. According to multiple media reports, including one from the New York Daily News, the Palin family was involved in drunken fight at a party in Alaska last Saturday.

According to the Alaska Dispatch News, the brawl, which took place at an Anchorage house party, involved approximately 20 people.

“A preliminary investigation by police revealed that a party had been taking place at a nearby residence and a fight had broken out between multiple subjects outside of the residence,” Anchorage Police Department spokesperson Jennifer Castro told the Alaska Dispatch News via email. “None of the involved parties wanted to press charges at the time of the incident and no arrests were made at the scene. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident. Some of the Palin family members were in attendance at the party.”

So what got the former first family of Alaska to roll up their sleeves and start swinging? According to Alaska political blogger Amanda Coyne, who runs amandacoyne.com, Track Palin allegedly arrived at the “snowmachine party” in a stretch limo and noticed an ex-boyfriend of Willow’s and that’s when the trouble started.

“Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, ‘Don’t you know who I am!’ Coyne wrote. And it was particularly wonderful when someone in the crowd screamed back, ‘This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!’”

Coyne notes that there was beer and “maybe other things” at the party.

Just imagine if this had happened back in 2008?
