Subject: Snowden: I Was a CIA Spy Overseas Wed May 28, 2014 7:35 am
In his first US network television interview, NSA leaker Edward Snowden told NBC's Brian Williams that he worked overseas as a CIA spy. He revealed that he even operated with a false identity in order to gather intelligence.
Snowden also accused the US government of fabrication when they called him a "low-level systems analyst" and a "29-year-old hacker."
The full interview will air on Wednesday May 28.
The fact that Snowden worked for the CIA undercover is not itself news - in fact it's well-documented on Wikipedia - but this part of his story hasn't so far attracted muc mainstream media attention.
