Bought only by millionaires who really do have absolutely everything else, a Koenigsegg supercar is already wild to look at and just as wildly fast.

But if you're an extra fussy oligarch or IT baron who needs a little bit extra from their supercar, Koenigsegg is launching a hypercar version of its Agera S model which is even more wild, and just to show what an ego massager it is intended to be, it's called the "One:1".

You'd better be quick as only six examples will be produced.

Koenigsegg tells us that name refers in fact to the car's power to weight ratio which is one kilogram per horsepower. Of course in metric countries like ours that doesn't count, as it will have to be much more powerful if it is to produce a kilowatt per kilogram and you shouldn't mix imperial with metric anyway. Also, somehow "One:0.74" doesn't seem quite as neat.

So it's in reality a long way from truly achieving a one-to-one power-to-weight ratio, though that doesn't mean it isn't very fast indeed. In an interview last year, company founder and owner Christian Von Koenigsegg was quoted as saying that the One:1 will weigh 1400kg and will be powered by a 1400hp (1030kW). That's a massive leap over the Agera's 965hp.

However, the company in releasing an official teaser image late last week of the car on its Facebook page, has revealed the car will now weigh in at 1340kg with 1340hp.

The Koenigsegg car's quoted weight includes all the fuel, fluids and lubricants as well as the driver.

"Other cars have achieved this but by measuring dry weight - no oil, no water, no fuel," von Koenigseg said.

With those kinds of outputs and the weight they have to propel, it's not surprising that the car's predicted performance is a little mind-boggling. Koenigsegg's computer simulations have it that the One:1 will be capable of 450kmh or more.

If calculations are correct, it will not only be the fastest production car in the world, but also the fastest from 0 to 200kmh, from 0 to 300kmh, and from 0 to 400kmh.

The 0 to 400kmh sprint is expected to be covered in less than 20 seconds. In comparison, the heretofore incomparable Bugatti Veyron needs 45 seconds to reach the same speed.

All six units have already been presold and the new owners, along with a select group of invitees will get a sneak preview of the car on February 26 before its official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4.

The price has not yet been disclosed though it is naturally expected to be substantially higher than that of the "ordinary" Agera S.

Despite that, Christian Von Koenigsegg says he expects to lose money on the project.
