On Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Work in Progress in New York, N.Y., liberty activists met for the Anarchy in the NYC event. The event was MC'ed by podcaster Michael Silva. Tickets to the event costed $19 and sold out well before the event.

Speakers on the itinerary included many libertarian and anarcho-capitalist activists, as well as philosophers and Austrian School economists. Libertarian ANNarchist, Christopher Cantwell, Adam Kokesh, Anthony Antonello, Chase Rachels, Larken Rose, Michael Shanklin, Robert Murphy, Derrick Broze, and Stefan Molyneux were among the featured speakers.

Topics discussed included current events such as the Boston Marathon terrorist attack and the ensuing manhunt, the recent passage of the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act by the US House of Representatives, and the attempt to pass anti-gun legislation in the US Senate.

The bands HeistClick, Truth Now, Corrected Axiom, and Rebel INC. also played at the event.

Anarchy in the NYC is an annual event held every April 20.
