A bad driver inadvertently led police to a stash of allegedly stolen goods in a Brisbane caravan park yesterday.

Police spotted a car driving erratically through Aspley, on Brisbane's northside, about 1am and followed it into a nearby caravan park.

The male driver of the vehicle fled the scene but another man and woman remained in the car.

Police allegedly found a small quantity of drugs in the vehicle but a search of their caravan allegedly revealed a cache electrical goods, mobile phones, jewellery and cosmetics.

Investigations revealed some of the property had been taken from homes in New South Wales and Brisbane.

The woman was charged with bringing stolen goods into Queensland and stealing or receiving property.

Police also charged her with assault and obstructing police after she kicked a female officer during the arrest.

She is due to appear in Sandgate Magistrates Court on Monday.
