Police were called Sunday night after two men were seen committing sex acts in the water on Sanibel Beach.

According to police, Pawel Drozda, 23 and Tyler Kneeskern, 24, were observed by beachgoers near 1501 Middle Gulf Drive around 8 p.m.

Drozda removed his swimming trunks, according to police, and ran onto the beach fully naked.

When he ran back into the gulf, police say Kneeskern proceeded to commit a sex act with Drozda.

Among the witnesses were a 13 and 14-year-old. The two juveniles were about 25 yards from the men, police say.

Officers reported both men smelled of alcohol and were intoxicated and belligerent.

They were arrested for Lewd and Lascivious Acts and Indecent Exposure and were taken to Lee County jail.
