| Subject: Rights violation: SeaTac man who tried to communicate with girl, gets arrested Sun Jan 29, 2012 7:14 pm | |
| A SeaTac man was arrested Friday for allegedly trying to lure a 13-year-old girl into his car.
The girl's parents called police to report the incident at around 3 p.m. on Friday. The girl told police she was walking home from school when a man tried to lure her into his car.
She refused and then went home to tell her parents.
As the officers were looking around the area where the luring was said to have happened, they spotted a car that matched the description the girl gave them.
The driver saw the officers and allegedly tried to escape, but he didn't make it far before police pulled him over and arrested him.
The man, a 27-year-old from SeaTac, was taken into custody and later identified by the victim.
Police are now interviewing the man and investigating the incident.
