Funny: Teacher tells kids to 'fuck off and go home'

A teacher told Year Three students they should "f--- off and go home", according to evidence presented to a tribunal.

Former Queensland state school physical education teacher David Doherty, 49 of Wondal, was also under scrutiny for snapping a Year Seven girl's bra strap and joking about a Year Nine boy's sexuality.

The incidents were among nine cases cited by the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal last month when it banned Mr Doherty from reapplying for teaching registration for at least a year.

Mr Doherty, who had been employed by Education Queensland until his resignation in October 2007, was conducting a physical education class for Year Three students when one of the incidents occurred.
