Ron Paul took Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke to task on the chronic devaluation of the U.S. Dollar during his testimony in front of the House Financial Services Committee today. Congressman Paul schooled Bernanke on the principles of sound money and charged the Federal Reserve with deliberately destroying the value of the U.S. Dollar. Congressman Paul called the policy immoral and said that the Federal Reserve’s policy of expanding the money supply was destroying the middle class.
