Notice the one similar occurrence throughout many of these acts of
violence: the criminal cop gets paid time off. Thanks to Rob for the

I have an idea, but many wont like it, that would reign in
out-of-control cops and the subculture of bad cops. First, It should be
illegal for two siblings to both be police officers, and it should also
be illegal for a son or daughter of a police officer to get to be a
police officer. The FAMILIES of police officers should be composed of
CIVILIANS. Reason for this change is that it would change the “herd”
mentality of these families where the dad, sons, daughters, and cousins
are all in law enforcement. If your brother is a cop and you still want
to protect and serve, make the FBI or work for the fire department.
That would change the “us vs. them” subculture in law enforcement
whereby so many police look at the rest of us as
“civilian-troublemakers” and themselves as medieval knights on armored
warhorses keeping the peace as a seperate pseudo-class of beings.
Number two, we need to start taking the badges of cops found
misbehaving and never allow them to work in law enforcement again. The
little paid-suspensions dont really work to curtail these kinds of
abuses. There also needs to be better screening to weed out the
bullying in the hiring process. There is no excuse for a cop to lie to
a woman and say they wont let her kid go unless she assents to what is
basically a gang-bang, and that cop keep his job.
