However, FunctionX -- a blockchain OS company last year introduced BoB XPhone -- a blockchain-enabled phone for a truly encrypted experience. However, last year’s device was limited to just 5000 units. But now it looks like the brand is going all in.
FunctionX has also revamped the specs on the smartphone a little to make it seem more 2019. However, one of the most unique parts of the device is its aesthetics. They’re going with this retro-futuristic design that surely makes it stand out of the crowd.
The phone design is truly modular and people can even 3D print custom parts to make their device look unique.
You get a 4.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Just don’t expect the phone to be very handy, with its chunky body. Under the hood, the device is rocking a rather modest Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. For optics, you’re getting a 48-megapixel shooter at the back as well as a 16-megapixel selfie shooter to capture crispy selfies.
