| An alleged scheme by NSW Labor and Chinese donors to circumvent the state’s electoral funding laws will be publicly investigated by the corruption watchdog.
The Independent Commission Against Corruption on Wednesday confirmed it would hold a six-week public inquiry into the donation scandal that saw Labor’s headquarters raided last December.
Confirmation of the inquiry comes after the Herald revealed the Chinese billionaire Huang Xiangmo, former Labor boss Jamie Clements and ex-state MP, Ernest Wong, would form part of the inquiry.
