Erase the State is a website created to contribute to the spread of uncompromising and principled ideas of individual liberty.

It’s primary purpose is to attack the state as the illegitimate and corrupt system that it is, not just individual politicians that come and go. The main values of this site are: the non-aggression principle, voluntaryism, peace, self-ownership, private property and Austrian Economics.

Forget about the narrow, unimaginative and well-worn R vs. D tribalism. Meaningful change will only occur when a significant portion of the population develops an intellectual appreciation for the rights of individuals and a vision for a stateless society.

Ludwig von Mises once wrote “No government, whether democratic or dictatorial, can free itself from the sway of the generally accepted ideology.”
