| A 23-year-old University of Rochester senior has been identified by the Brighton Police Department as the suspect behind several white supremacist fliers and stickers that were posted around Brighton last fall.
Christopher N. Hodgman, 23, of Bethesda, Maryland, has been cited with three counts of violating the Brighton Town Code for placing the fliers on public structures, Police Chief Mark Henderson said during a press conference Monday afternoon.
Police were able to pull fingerprints from adhesive material on three of the fliers and identify Hodgman as the suspect, Henderson said.
The violation carries a $250 fine and 15 days in jail per count, Henderson said. Hodgman is due in Brighton Town Court on March 27.
