Gingrich Cuts Through The Clinton Claptrap … ‘Creatures Of Government’ Feed On Taxes

When it comes to calling out Bill and Hillary Clinton, Newt Gingrich is in a class by himself.
From the 1990s, when the former House speaker’s “Contract With America” stopped the Clinton train dead in its tracks, to the current presidential contest where Gingrich has been one of Donald Trump’s most persuasive supporters, the former congressman from Georgia has been a power player.
So when he calls out Hillary Clinton’s obsession with Donald Trump’s tax returns, the country should be listening.

In an interview on Fox News’ “Real World With Neil Cavuto,” Gingrich pushed back hard on Clinton’s carping during Monday night’s debate about Trump’s decision to keep his private tax returns private.
One difference between Trump and Clinton when it comes to taxes, Gingrich said, is Clinton looks at tax revenues like a source of income for herself and her so-called “charity,” the Clinton Foundation.
Trump looks at taxes like most Americans do, Gingrich said: a price that must be paid for living in America, but one that should be as low as legally possible.

“The sheer hypocrisy” of the Clintons is the real problem, Gingrich said.
“The Clinton Foundation, of course, is tax-free, and pays all sorts of salaries to all sorts of people, and takes care of cronies of the Clintons,” he said.
“The Clintons have spent large parts of their life living in public housing, both in Arkansas and Washington, given to them by the federal government. The Clintons are creatures of government. They love high taxes in part because they expect to get them as part of their various projects.”
