| The police officer husband of a domestic violence liaison worker is accused of threatening to kill his wife and taunting her that she wouldn't be believed if she went to the police.
The NSW officer, who cannot be identified, listened in the Downing Centre Local Court on Monday as his former partner recounted alleged abuse and threats over nine years.
The man has pleaded not guilty to seven charges, including common assault and stalk/intimidate.
Among the allegations is that the officer put his wife - also a sworn police officer - in a head lock during a struggle in their bedroom in 2006. Advertisement
The woman was shown photographs of her injuries in court and described suffering bruising to both arms, a red ear and a scratch on her wrist from the struggle.
