The Communist Party Endorsed Sanders Last Year So the Media Should Be Asking Him to Disavow That Any Second Now

In case you missed it: Bernie Sanders was endorsed by the Communist Party, USA in the middle of last year.

You might be surprised to learn that there are people in this country who benefit from a free market system on a regular basis and are still stupid enough to think that communism is the best way to allocate scarce resources.

Don’t bother trying to convert them. They’re a lost cause.

It’s unsurprising, though, that folks who are that economically illiterate would cleave to the Bolshevik from Burlington. That’s why, in June of last year, the communists endorsed him.

The CPUSA website notes: “The Sanders campaign is a wonderful development for 2016 and beyond in many ways.”

Yes, one of those ways is making us laugh.

He also gave Hillary Clinton a bit of scare. That was enjoyable to watch.

Other than that, though, I can’t think of any reason why the Sanders candidacy was (note past tense) a “wonderful development.”
