| WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) - A West Point cadet accused of sexually assaulting a fellow cadet faces court-martial. The trial of 23-year-old Cadet Lukas M. Saul of Ithaca, New York begins Wednesday at the U.S. Military Academy. He is accused of engaging in inappropriate contact with a cadet without her consent three times between March and December 2012. The incidents allegedly occurred both on and off West Point. He faces three violations under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Saul didn’t graduate with his class last year and has been on administrative leave since August. Two of his lawyers didn’t immediately return calls seeking comment. The charges carry a maximum punishment of dismissal from the Army, forfeiture of pay and confinement for life.
