Every few years or so, another sucker tries it: some sort of product (usually a "gift book", or a greeting card, or a fridge magnet) titled "Porn For Women", and inevitably featuring fully-clothed men doing the dishes or saying things like "I care about your feelings".

That's not to say some women – probably many women! – don't get hot and bothered at the thought of a handsome bohunk stacking the dishwasher, but rather that it perpetuates the notion that women don't watch actual porn.

Fortunately, Pornhub, RedTube and The Daily Beast are here to set your disbelieving fridge-magnet fan straight. The sites teamed up over the past month to tabulate exactly what women were searching for and watching when they looked up porn on Pornhub and RedTube.

The study, More Of What Women Want, reveals, for example, that the top three search terms employed by female Pornhub users are "lesbian", "threesome" and "squirt"; the same three topped the list in Pornhub's last demographics study in September 2014.
