A US arts school has come under fire for ‘forcing’ students to strip naked and perform erotic gestures in order to graduate.

For University of California students, the ‘naked exam’ is a course requirement for a class in the visual arts department.

To pass, students strip naked in a candlelit classroom in front of the class and professor.

Students are also required to perform ‘a gesture that traces, outlines or speaks about your ‘erotic self’, according to course syllabus.

According to Professor Ricardo Dominguez, he had not had any complaints about the exam in the 11 years he had taught the course.
