| FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A prominent Fargo defense attorney says he doesn’t believe there should be another trial for a West Fargo teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a female student in 2009. Jury deliberations came to a halt Wednesday in the Aaron Knodel case after a juror became disoriented and was taken to the hospital. It was later learned she didn’t answer a question truthfully when she didn’t disclose that she had been the victim of sexual abuse. A judge says that same juror was only one on the panel who wanted to convict Knodel. Attorney Bruce Quick tells KFGO radio that the end result should be acquittal on all counts and “in the interest of fairness,” the case should be over.
