After cancelling the release of The Interview movie under threats of violence from North Korea and purported North Korean hackers Sony Pictures backtracked and released it to independent theaters. North Texans were able to view it over the holidays at The Texas Theatre in Dallas and the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Richardson.
