This extraordinary image purports to show a woman in Saudi Arabia, who was allegedly arrested after disguising herself as a man to attend a football match.

She bought a ticket to attend the match between Riyadh-based Al-Shabab and Jeddah's Al-Etihad teams online and bypassed security - covering her hair and wearing men's clothing, including a baseball cap and hoodie, according to Saudi newspaper Sabq.

Footage posted on YouTube appears to show the woman sitting alone in the away stands of Jeddah's Al-Jawhara stadium.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the woman had been seen by security guards during the match and that her details had been "forwarded to the appropriate authorities". It is unknown whether charges will be brought against her.
