| Queensland police have targeted the Bandidos in the largest show of force against an outlaw bikie gang in years.
More than 100 police descended on the gang's club house at West End in Brisbane on Thursday night, but a tip off meant only one club member turned up.
He was arrested for his alleged role in last week's violent bikie brawl on the Gold Coast.
Police Superintendent Jim Keogh said the show of force, which included detectives, the dog squad and a heavily armoured vehicle used in high-risk situations, was necessary.
He said Bandidos members had been due to meet at the club house and police didn't know how many would be there.
"Word spread among their group that there was a police presence. It's pretty hard to hide a police presence of this magnitude and they chose not to come," he told ABC radio.
