| Actor Harrison Ford has caused a stir among the political elite in Jakarta, after he confronted the Indonesian Forestry Minister over illegal logging and burning in one of the country’s national parks.
Minister Zilkifli Hasan threatened to deport the star of the Indiana Jones and Star Wars movies, after accusing him of “harassing a state institution”.
"If necessary, we will deport him,’’ said Andy Arief, a special staff member of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
The actor was due to leave on Tuesday anyway.
Ford was in Indonesia interviewing officials, including Mr Yudhoyono, for a TV documentary on climate change called Years of Living Dangerously, which will also feature Matt Damon, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Don Cheadle and Jessica Alba.
