Honda has revealed the Mean Mower - a ride-on lawn mower that can keep pace with supercars.

Developed in conjunction with Honda’s British Touring Car outfit Team Dynamics and Top Gear Magazine in the UK, the Honda Mean Mower is powered by a 1000cc motorcycle engine producing 81kW and 96Nm.

Because of the mower’s light 140kg kerb weight the VTR Firestorm powerplant can help it sprint from 0-100km/h in an estimated 4.0 seconds - faster than a Porsche 911 (4.8s), Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale (4.5s), and almost as quick as a Ferrari California (3.9s).
