| Maserati is preparing to go mainstream. Two new sedans and its first SUV will spearhead its push to hit more than 50,000 sales by 2015.
The Italian brand famous for sports cars will pin those hopes on its family-friendly cars led by an all-new Quattroporte.
It will eventually be joined by a smaller BMW 5-Series-size sedan, tipped to be called Levante, and a production version of the Kubang SUV concept. Despite Maserati's previous focus on pleasing the driver, the new Quattroporte will be all about making the back-seat occupants happy.
That's because the new Quattroporte has been designed with the lucrative Chinese market in mind.
