A Sydney woman is standing trial in a London court charged with laundering hundreds of thousands of dollars, the alleged profits of a high-class online prostitution operation.

Larissa Miesnieks, 39, is accused of controlling prostitutes and laundering money between 2006 and 2010, British newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported.

She was arrested after handing over a laptop to police investigating a break-in at one of her London properties, the article said.

An analysis of the computer linked Ms Miesnieks's email address to the websites - Atlantic Companions and pure Brit - prosecutor Lawrence Aiolfi told a jury at Southwark Crown Court.
