| There is a new breed of human being. It is the two faced capitalist. A creature deriving from statism success, the two faced capitalist will praise capitalism and most often lean or be right wing in ideology. In The united states they would most often be found in the dens of the republicans or tea party crowd. There political views will spout off the benefits of pro business, low taxes, and the evils of statehood to anyone who will listen.
But what hasn't been realized, is the dillusion these people suffer.. These are not capitalists.
They will eagerly take a government entitlement, a no bid government contract or profits resulting FROM the state.
The two face capitalist landlord, will collect checks from his subsidized housing tenants, government checks.
The two face capitalist store owner, will accept moneys from welfare or food samps subsidy, greatfully.
The two faced capitalist college student, will eagerly accept low interest student loans and government grants.
These are just a couple examples. The problem is a pandemic. there could be hundreds of examples. The myth of the great capitalist in reality the great government benefactor.
This, is the two face capitalist. Unknown to the two faced capitalist is what actual capitalism is. The actual free market is.
The government supported student, graduates college. And the student, who once had parents that enjoyed much state services and raised this child with state services, goes out into the world a product of statism. Once in the world it drives in a federally monitored vehicle on a federally monitored highway, living in a federally monitored housing structure, and goes to work for a federally supported corporation.
Even if the two faced capitalist goes to work for just a supermarket, the supermarket recieves on fifth of its revenue from government subsidized food stamps.
So our two faced capitalist, decides to join the tea party. NOT UNDERSTANDING, THEY THEMSELVES, ARE THE SPAWN OF STATISM.
They are the PINNACLE OF STATISM OFFSPRING, at THE PINNACLE OF STATISM. Claiming to be capitalist.
They most often are heard to complain of taxes, complain of large government, and possilby welfare. They will enthusiastically exclaim "I made my money on my own! I earned this! "
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The two faced capitalist, even if they succeed in making it to ceo of a fortune 100 company. Has never been a capitalist, nor have they understood what capitalism is. They, and their company, are a result of statism.
There was a point in which the government influence in markets crossed the threshold of nolonger being just a influence. But the government became the fabric of very society, and it developed and protected its own markets. The unknowing individual enters this market, unbeknownst that this is capitalism or a free market. However some may claim it to be.
when you talk to one of these individuals, understand they have little concept of reality. They are comparing their opposing view of state with the pro view of state. without realizing what they know them to be are both just different levels of statism.
As they may make capitalism claims, without the experience of ever being in a free market.
Or just call them hypocrites, or corrupt user scumbags. They are often no less a leach on the system than the far left welfare liberal that never worked a day. Perhaps a greater leach, in greater denial.
And they have become a very large portion of our society, the secret cheerleaders for statism at tea party rallys. Never actually facing or promoting the real free market economy or limited government. Just a cut in taxes (because they have completed their government sponsored education so must be smart and stuff)_
