| Central Queensland police officers have been ordered to sign an ethical standards charter although the Police Union (QPU) has raised concerns.
Central Region Assistant Commissioner Alan Davey wants officers to sign a nine page summary of existing requirements on misconduct, corruption, discipline and ethics.
The QPU has questioned the need for the document.
A police spokeswoman says it reflects the priorities of Mr Davey and is not a response to any particular problems in the Central Region.
A female sergeant, 37, was dismissed from the police service last week for dishonesty while other Central Region officers have appeared in court recently charged with assaulting tourists at Airlie Beach and perverting the course of justice in a Rockhampton murder investigation.
Mr Davey is on leave and is not available to comment.
