My granddaughter goes to kindergarten in Church Hill, and because she has been sick a lot with the weather we are having, they made my son-in-law go to court because she had to miss school. I have never heard of anything so dumb. Since when is it against the law to keep our children out of school because they are sick? She is only six years old and never was sick a day in her life until she started to their school.

My daughter and her husband take care of my granddaughter, not the schools. She has only missed six days.
