| Personalised plates pulled off Kiwi cars for being too offensive include DRGDLR, QUICKE and RNUDWN, according to New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) records published in Monday's The Dominion Post.
Also stripped from the streets is the number plate, H8PIGS, displayed on a former police car by a Christchurch man.
Since Australian-style plates replaced the former two-letter, four-number combination in 2001, the NZTA has also banned plates that threaten police and advertise drugs, along with 25 letter combinations such as ARS, BUM, DUM, FAK and FAT.
These were chosen "because they are considered as either likely offensive or undesirable by a large number of vehicle owners", the NZTA told The Dominion Post.
