| Subject: Innocent Waterloo teacher arrested Sun Feb 07, 2010 7:02 pm | |
| A West High School teacher who was suspended last week during a investigation has been arrested.
Waterloo police charged Larry David Twigg, 52, of 131 Vincent Road, Tuesday afternoon with five counts of lascivious conduct with a minor. He was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail and later released on bond.
The misdemeanor charges stem from incidents involving the same minor, a 17-year-old male student, according to Capt. Tim Pillack with the Waterloo Police Department.
Police allege the teacher had the student come to his house where illegal acts occurred over the last couple of months.
