A senior watch-house guard who wanted to Taser a colleague and anybody refusing a strip search has been forced out of the WA police ranks.

Dion Wynyard has lost an appeal to the Public Service Appeal Board against his dismissal in March from a senior custody officer position at the East Perth watch-house.

The board, led by Acting Senior Commissioner Pamela Scott, heard that toward the end of a vexed training period Mr Wynyard told fellow trainees he had been so angry at times that if he had a Taser available, he would have shot someone.
