| What is the Liberal Capitalist Party?
How often have you supported a candidate of one of the major parties based on one set of issues only to be disgusted by his or her position on another set of issues? Does it seem like every time you vote you have to hold your nose? Maybe even you’re frustrated to the point that you’ve quit voting all together. Polls show that only about a third of Americans are strong supporters of either major party, and it seems that year after year the situation gets worse, not better.
The time has come for us, the other two-thirds of America, to do something about it. The time has come for liberal Republicans, conservative Democrats, Libertarians, and political independents to come together and stand united as the American majority we are. The Liberal Capitalist Party Project is an effort intended to do just that. We represent the first major course correction of American politics in the twenty-first century.

| From Conservativeunderground:
A new party is being established -- one that mixes certain elements from both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, and take them one step further. It's fiscally conservative, socially liberal, and from what I understand largely based around Objectivism (the philosophy from Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged"). Here's a couple of quotes to get you started:
"Liberal Capitalists fully support the War on Terror. Self defense is the right of all people. And the frustrated tribalists who we are battling represent a grave threat to liberalism."
"There are a number of fundamental principles that distinguish us from the Democratic Party. First and foremost is our rejection of collectivism in all its aspects."
